How to use spamassassin on cpanel server from other servers?

We'd like to open up spamassassin on one server (running cpanel) to allow for checking the contents of emails sent from and to other servers. If I open up port 783 in the firewall it still doesn't seem to work. Is there a setting in cpanel that needs to change for this to work?

Could you explain in detail what you are attempting to configure? For example, is it just the normal installation of SpamAssassin to scan for emails sent to/from your server? Or, are you attempting to have additional emails scanned?
