maildir conversion: the maildir conversion converts ALL mailboxes on the server. You can not run a mixture of both mbox and maildir. Either you run mbox or you convert completely to maildir.

imap folders: In your outlook express, when you create after you create the IMAP account, right-click on the IMAP account from your main folder window on the left and select IMAP Folders. There you will be able to see 'visible' and 'subscribed'. You will need to subscribe to the folders to see them if they aren't the defualt Inbox / Sent / Draft folders.

NOTE: If you do the maildir conversion, you and your customers WILL have to resubscribe to any nonstandard IMAP folders so that you can continue to see your old mail once you convert.

Note that after the maildir conversion, Neomail will be removed from the webmail interface as Neomail is not compatible with maildir.

Have you checked your email client settings? Is your inbox prefix set to INBOX? Are you encountering any errors when you attempt to get mail from the server? Are you sure it isn't some firewall on your computer blocking outlook?

Please do not post your passwords on a public forum.

I would recommend contacting your web hosting provider regarding this issue, see if they can be of assistance.
