Is a full restore not feasible? If you did a full backup you can just bring back everything. Email, and site files!

Otherwise do you have shell access?

    Sure,

Upload your tarball to /home/yourtarballname.tar.gz using ...scp or ssh or even ftp.

Then login to WHM at www.yoursitename.com/whm as root.

Look on the left side under "Backup" and select restore from full backup/cpmove file and it will show you the file you just uploaded, select it and let it do its thing.

You will then have your account, email, sites, passwords, and everything else back!

A tarball is the file that you hopefully downloaded when you backed it up...

Like for instance yoursitename-12-3-05.tar.gz ...that is a g-zipped tarball.

i was playing with the password files and brought over the accounts, but its not working right, no email is getting to the accounts properly. im gunna ask the webhost to restart the email tomorrow maybe that might work, but is this gunna work or not?
