    Default Invalid MX

Something wrong is with our cPanel - it does not allow adding VALID MX records. For example, trying to change MX record to ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM. (which is valid!) will result an error - "Sorry, the "Host Domain" field must be a valid domain name."

The same problem happens when adding MX record via cpanel or WHM.

I know this was an issue in earlier builds of cPanel 11. You may want to ask your hosting provider to update cPanel. If they do not want to, they have the ability to add this MX record for you as this issue only affected the cPanel interface, not the WHM interface.

Hmm, in that case you may want to have our technical analysts take a look at that for you. You can do so by submitting a support ticket at: http://tickets.cPanel.net/submit

When adding the domain name, do not include the trailing .

    Hence use

    ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM

    rather than

    ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM.
