Default Mail box full on deleted account. Unresolved..

Awhile back I deleted most of my users accounts on a domain and set email forwarding instead.

I have one account that was deleted that is still getting mail box full warnings.
The account does not exist in cpanel.

Where would I find these files on the server to manually remove the account.
    I have root access.

    Thank you,

    *Edited to indicate unresolved.

    Thank you,
The user account is just a standard unix account. The files would be stored in /home/user where user is their username.

    I spoke incorrectly.
I did not create UNIX user.

I created email accounts and later deleted the email accounts opting for forwarders instead.
I now only have 1 email account default@domain.com

I keep getting a warning email that one of the old accounts (deleted) that is now a forward only has a full mail box. This account I am getting a warning on no longer exists in cpanel.

    Hope this clarifies,

    Thank you.

Check to see if there is still a delivery folder under the account.

    Should be something like: /home/cpanel-accounts/domain.com/email-user
