You need to watch /var/log/exim_mainlog (on Linux) when you are sending an email to see what happens. If you don't see anything, then the mail isn't reaching the server and would suggest a DNS MX record problem.

when i send the email from account, everything goes fine and mail is sent and received at particular address, but when i reply from particular address to the account, it is not received.
help me out.
You still need to do as I suggested, i.e. SSH into the server as root and tail the exim mainlog when you send/receive an email.

i saw the exim mainlogs, when mail is sent it says completed, while receive is not taking place, so no mainlogs entry for recieve.
Then that suggests that the email is not even reaching the server. That suggests a problem with the DNS zone configuration for the MX record on the authoritative name servers.
