    Default Mailing List Issue

Hi. I am having a problem with my mailing lists. When we send out emails, MANY people are not receiving them, but some of us are. We have tried checking SPAM folders for the members who aren't receiving them. Next, we checked to make sure there emails were right in the list. Then, we checked to see if it was all members with gmail & yahoo emails, but that isn't the problem either as some members with gmail and yahoo get them and some don't. I have not received any error messages only complaints from my members.... Can someone help?

Are you exceeding the maximum number of permitted emails per hour?

What do the mail logs say?

Ok, I hate to sound really stupid, but I have no clue how to check this... I am the web designer for my student organization and we were moved to a host here by our College. The President of the College wanted us to have a website and the IT department wanted us off their host, so they are paying for us to be here...

Is your username 'root' or no? If you don't have root access to the server, you will not be able to check the mail logs nor the WHM settings.

    Hi,

Please try /scripts/fixmailman and check whether the issue gets resolved or not . This script resolves almost all common issues with mailman.

If you have root access you can find out the number of emails a domain can send per hour.

In order to do that, just login to WHM, go to Tweak Settings, search for "The maximum each domain can send out per hour (0 is unlimited)"

And match it with the # of recipients in your mailing list, if the number of recipients is lower than the one specified in the above setting, you should not have a problem sending emails to every member of your list.
