I have very strange problems with clamd socket.
get following error message sometimes ¨malware acl condition: clamd: unable to connect to UNIX socket /var/clamd (No such file or directory) ¨

After restart exim service all is ok.
I can´t understand what s happend because /var/clamd socket exist in moment when i get this error message.

Same issue here after the update on Release version to v11.

Try restarting clamd


/scripts/restartsrv clamd

check for a clamd file in the /var/ folder (normally). it may take a 30-60 seconds to startup after which the errors will stop. This is because clam does not create the socket till it is done reading its virus DB. This can take longer on busy or slow servers.
