Post Need list of all outgoing mails sent for a domain

    Hi

A client with domain (example.com) received an error saying something like "mail returned because max emails per hour limit was exceeded". This limit is set
    to 300 per hour currently.

Now he feels that he is way below that limit and could not have crossed it anyhow. How can I prove it to him by showing a log of emails sent from his domain?

I have grep'ed exim_mainlog but the number of mails in any hour are far below 300. What else could have triggered this error?

    TIA
    Arun

You can't really "prove" anything to the client, if he wants he can always deny that your data is accurate.

You can check yourself via WHM -> Email statistics and see the amount of outgoing emails from there.
