Default Notify a user through email on account creation

    HI,
I was wondering , how could i possibly notify a user about his/her account creation after i have added the user succesfully throuh WHM.
Since I am not using any billing software , i would like to email them with their user info and some custom informations.

    Is this possible?

    regards,
    manojR

Typically such emails are sent by your billing application. However, since you aren't using any billing software and cPanel/WHM does not automatically generate such emails to the user, you could just send the email manually.

    Thanks for the reply.
Is there any scripts that i could use after create account function takes place and ?
Because when we create account , the main ressler / root gets the email about the account.
is there a way to modify that to each New_User created?

    Hello,

When any account is created by Cpanel server it will mail the notification to the e-mail address specified in WHM > Mail System Preferences

So there is no way that the account creation mail will go to the user for whom the account is created.

Yeah but if you are having root access to the server. You can write a script which will use cpanel account creation script and mail that output the e-mail address provided.

I have done some scripts like this but it is possible only if you have root access to the server.

You can create a /scripts/postwwwacct script to add this functionality. Documentation for this is available at:
