    Default Password Change Script

I would like to let my customers change their password, so I would like to provide a simple PHP or HTML script that they can visit and enter their username/password and then a new password. I would use the http://mydomain/webmail/ but I don't want them getting lost with all of the options.

Is there a Perl/PHP script or any other script to do this?

    Thanks!

Please clarify your post. Are you just a regular cPanel user, a reseller or a root user? Are your customers just mail/webmail users, cPanel users or resellers?

I am a regular cPanel user.

The users who I would like to be able to change their email password are mail/webmail users.

While we do have APIs that would make it possible to build a PHP, Perl etc. script to handle this, you need reseller access to the cPanel/WHM server to be able to use the APIs.

Functionality of the Webmail interface can be disabled, but that also requires reseller access to do at this time.

Perhaps someone else here has a novel solution to this issue that they can share.

There is a change password link on the webmail login landing page.

If your e-mail users log into webmail at:

    http://theirdomain.com/webmail

If they will login with the current e-mail address and password. Then at the bottom of that page is a Change Password link that can be used to change the password for that e-mail account.
