    Default Perl custom function

I need to add a custom function in perl for exim, I know I can put it in exim.pl or exim.pl.local, but cpanel will overwrite those files in any update, I don't want to change the attributes of those files to avoid to be overwritten because I may have problems if cpanel update the files with new functions.

Any ideas about the best way to add perl functions?

    thanks!

    Dump them in /usr/local/cpanel/etc/exim/perl

    and run /scripts/buildeximconf
