Ever since the most recent cPanel upgrades, we've been receiving hundreds of failed POP logins daily. Various clients from various origin locations are experiencing this. We still are using Courier as the server.
Error messages received vary but some are "mailbox access denied" and some are "incorrect password." Nothing has changed on the client side.
Many of the failures occur when using the POP connector of Exchange Server to retrieve mail. That means, for us, perhaps 20-30 separate user logins within a few minutes of each other.
Has the maximum # of simultaneous POP connections been reduced?
Exim logs seem to indicate that the answer is yes. If so, how do I increase that limit, and are there any reasons not to do so?
Thanks in advance.
