Possible problem with Current tree?

Been having a problem where email to local accounts (cpanel username) would fail with

#550 Unrouteable address ##

Tried forcing an Exim rebuild (/scripts/eximup --force, That didn't do it, tryed /scripts/upcp --force

Didn't notice anything amiss in the config file then again im not an expert on exim.

Rolled back from the Current Tree to the Release tree and it started working again

Is there Something different with the way Cpanel (Current tree) handles mail that could cause this?
