Default Problems with POP3, IMAP or SSL? Pls Help

Hello, I have some problems with SSL or IMAP or POP3...
On my mobile, I create new IMAP or POP3 connection (for both is the same problem), incoming server security is ok, but for outgoing server I must to setup PORT: 465 and SECURITY: SSL (accept all certificates) - then work fine.
But when change that and choose for PORT: 587 and SECuRITY: nothing - my outgoing mail server dont work.

How do I configure WHM so it does not require more setup SSL for outgoing mail server.

    Thanks in advanced.

If you are using any secure port (465 / 587) you have to have SSL TLS encryption as a standard.

If you do not want to use SSL / TLS then you should be using port 25 for SMTP and 110 for POP3.

    Port:25
    Security: None
    Authentication: Password

cPanel's implementation of Exim does not listen on port 587 by default. Instead, it listens on ports 25 and 465. You should use port 465 for TLS/SSL connections.

I apologize, but I am not sure I understand what you are trying to ask. You indicate that if you configure your client to use port 465 to send mail, then it works fine. Why are you trying to configure it for port 587? What are you trying to accomplish that is not working as you expect?
