    Default Problems sending email outside domain

    Hello,

    I'm having a little problem with my email. I can login to the test account via webmail, and send email to the test account, but can't seem to be able to send to my gmail account. I setup the test account on my phone, and it receives the test messages for the test account, so it seems to be getting outside the server. Any thoughts?

    Also; I've tried both server types, and rebooted all the services already, and that didn't seem to change anything.

    Do you have access to the exim logs to check them in root SSH? If you do, then try the following to see what it happening when sending to gmail:

    Code:
    exigrep username@gmail.com /var/log/exim_mainlog
    Please replace username@gmail.com with the gmail email account that is being used to send to from the server.

    You should simply be able to highlight the text and copy it. What SSH client are you using? It really shouldn't be so much content output to need to put it into a text file.

    Google is refusing connection from the server per the error message:

    2011-05-25 18:10:11 1QOkKU-0000Re-Ev == usernamereplaced@gmail.com R=lookuphost T=remote_smtp defer (111): Connection refused
    Of note, I changed the username above to not be your email address so that it cannot be harvested by spammers.

    We could try to troubleshoot it via the ticket system to see if there's anything on your machine causing it, but if it ends up being due to google blocking you for some reason, then you'd have to contact them about it. You can open up a ticket using WHM > Support Center > Contact cPanel or via the link in my signature.

    One of the emails I sent to my test account from gmail bounced back with an error and link.

    I've added an MX entry for the gmail server as suggested in these links, and will see if it updates in the next 48 hours as stated in the tutorials.

    'The recipient server did not accept our requests...' - Gmail Help

    Configure email delivery - create MX records - Google Apps Help

    Thanks,
