Alright so I was trying to track down why my disk space was so high on one of my domains when I realized that the mail folder is nearly 1Gb in size. I have no email accounts setup for that particular domain (in fact, the domains I do have email setup with I have them forwarded to my gmail account) so I got a little curious.

Is is possible to change the "account" email that also serves as the "catch all" email and redirect it to my gmail account? This way all that useless spam that gets sent to those accounts will get handled by gmail, thus freeing up space on my server.

Yes, this is configured using the "Default Address" option within cPanel. The details of this option are described at:

Default Address

You can "Discard with error to sender", or set it to forward to another email address.
