Running two mail servers on a single cPanel server

I would like to run the default cPanel mail setup on all IPs except for one. On that IP, I would like to have Kerio Mail Server run. I do not want cPanel to communicate or integrate with Kerio. I am currently using two servers for this and don't think I need to be.

I'm running the latest versions of Kerio as well as cPanel/WHM.

i am also looking for this functionality, its currently the only thing holding us off purchasing a cpanel license

I have this working; however, it requires that I manually edit the configs for cPanel's webmail offerings (Horde and Roundcube) so that they only look at one address. This means that each time I update cPanel, I must apply my changes to the webmail configs. The other config files (for Exim, etc.) can be changed in WHM and the changes persist over updates.

I'm sure there is a way to automate this, but I do not know how.

It would be nice to have an option in WHM to set ALL cPanel related mail systems to one IP address instead of taking over all of them.

You can create a /scripts/preupcp shell script to backup your custom configuration files and then create a /scripts/postupcp to restore your customizations.
