Default Setting up a SMTP service for remote server

    Hi all,

I am trying to set up a simple SMTP relay for a server that is in another data center. It is only for sending out email so no domain or email account is needed, just the relay.

Is there an easy way to do this without opening up the relay to everyone?

(basically i would like to authenticate the servers IP to send mail through my cpanel server.. that is all)

    I appreciate it!

    Yep.

Create a file /etc/alwaysrelay add the IP to that file, restart Exim and away you go
