Is there a current answer to should: [SMTP Mail protection has been disabled. All users may make smtp connections.] I'm trying to find ways to protect the system as much as possible but I fear not knowing exactly what the effect is breaks things (I do that already) Thanks -t

Do you have CSF installed? If yes, you should leave this setting disabled in WHM > Security Center > SMTP Tweak.

Thank you, as a precaution I did go ahead disable" before I had heard back its good to know.

I wish there was better hints in each of these tweaks as to what might break when you turn something on or off. I try and stick with defaults but even that breaks stuff sometimes based on other services turned on or off.
