    Default SpamAssassin marks email from Gmail as spam

    Hello,

    We're having an issue with one server which is marking all the emails from Gmail as spam. Please check the logs below ( domain name changed for security purposes ) :

    What we have done until now :

    - checked the filters - there's only one filter set ( $h_X-Spam-Bar: contains "+++++" Discard ) which should be OK
    - ran /scripts/upcp --force
    - ran /scripts/eximup --force
    - ran /scripts/update_sa_rules
    - ran /scripts/checkperlmodules

    Any ideas ? :-) Thanks

    Hey,

    Thanks for moving the topic. In the meantime, we fixed the issue. For anyone who runs into the issue, just remove the email filter and check the headers. We actually found the issue to be caused by a SpamAssassin bug :

    Rules/FH_DATE_PAST_20XX - Spamassassin Wiki

    We edited /etc/mail/spamassassin/local.cf and restarted Exim. This fixed the issue. I hope someone will find this helpful. Cheers !
