    Default SpamAssassin subject rewrite

    Hello,
    Does anyone know where I can actually change the way SpamAssassin rewrites subjects in the new version of cPanel? I have a client whose users all were filtering out the text ***SPAM***ALERT instead of just ***SPAM***. Where can I customize this now?

    You can do that in the advanced exim config editor, but only server wide and not on an account / domain basis anymore (cPanel 11).

    Default user_prefs

    Sorry, new to this, but you could just edit the user's .spamassassin/user_prefs couldn't you? Or will that break cPanel?

    with cpanel 11 i think you can't as cpanel 11 have new way on handling spamassassin globally

    go to the exim configuration editor, then switch to advanced mode, scroll down till you find

    add_header = X-Spam-Subject: ***SPAM*** $h_subject

    and change this line to

    add_header = X-Spam-Subject: ***SPAM***ALERT $h_subject

    this setting will be server wide and not just for that user, user specific subjects are not possible with WHM 11 anymore (as far as I know).
