Default squirrel mail doesn't recognize email accounts

    hi,
I have a cpanel setup with squirrel mail. The email accounts I set up work as POP, but logging into squirrel mail only works for the main account.

I use email address as username and the password I double checked, yet squirrel mail says: unknown user or passw. incorrect.

Is there a way to fix squirrel mail?

Do confirm that you are using correct password also remeber that the passwords are case sensitive.

did you try username@mydomain.com. Pop3 usually requires the fully qualified name.

    Default Mail login

I agree with making sure your user name with full address is used to access accounts. Could be in the setup as well. As in address that was punched in for access. I would consult the original email that contained setup info, and apply. Good luck!

Yes. I did. actually I could login into the account managment page of the email account with no problem. Where it doesn't work is the login of squirrel mail. I suppose it's the same access. user@domain.com and password.
I tried changing the password in the account management page and tried again several times. with only the same answer: ERROR
    Unknown user or password incorrect.
    Go to the login page

POP accounts work, and I can also login to the mailmanagement page of that account. But the squirrel mail login doesn't work.

I didn't get a setup email, neither on the main account nor on a user account.
