WebDisk+iCal+Thunderbird+Lightning for calander syncronisation

I'm looking at how to use the cPanel webdisk to synchronise a calendar in thunderbird's calendar addon called lightening.

It seems to almost work, I can create the file somehow, but then it gives me the error:

MODIFICATION_FAILED

Has anyone else tried this out?

How do I go about getting this to work?

Perhaps the issue is with Thunderbird+Lighning.

I'll try over at the Mozilla forums.

If anybody could try this to confirm that they can replicate the issue, that would be helpful.

I am trying to sync one calendar on one computer with another computer using cPanel based web space.

There must be a simple way...

I think the issue is that although WebDAV is supported cPanel doesn't support CalDAV yet.
