webmail issue high load

i have problem with webmail ( round cube , horde , squirrelmail )

users which have big mailboxes ( 6k+ messages and 700MB+ ) trying to read emails with webmail i have server loads above 10 ( normal 1.00 max )

and only 1 user is reading - if more login at the same time i have server lock ups - can´t even ssh in the next 10 minutes

any fix or help would be appreciated

does anyone else have the same expirience?

I having the same problem here, My server provider change 2 times the processor and RAM, from a PIV@3.0Ghz to a DUAL Pentium D@3.0ghz, the problem always persist, the webmail are freezing the WHM,Cpanel,Web and exim goes down sometimes.

Now, they change to a new server 2X Core2Duo@3.0Ghz and 4GB RAM, Change the HDD to a SATA drive and the problem persist... This is hapenning only this month, from the last update...

The loads are 10. 14. 24 some times and more!

The last night, Support reformated the machine and reinstalled all, and the problem persist!

I recommend you let our technical analysts take a look at your server by submitting a support ticket directly to cPanel.
