Whitelist: Backup Mail Hosts - Greyed out?

Hi,

I'm looking at:

Main >> Service Configuration >> Exim Configuration Editor >> Whitelist: Backup Mail Hosts (bypass all SMTP ratelimits)

I clicked EDIT and put in the hostnames I want to add to the whitelist, but the checkbox on the right is greyed out. What gives?

Is there a config file I can check to see if the Whitelist has been modified and is being acted upon?

Backup Mail Hosts are stored in /etc/backupmxhosts and must have reverse DNS entries. This option cannot be disabled (backup mail hosts are optional). You can add the record in the config file by editing the edit button and restart the exim service.

Thanks! Am just using rollernet's at the moment, which do have PTRs for the IPs.

I've added a host to the list of whitelisted backup mail domains but the checkbox is still disabled in the "not selected" state.

How can I enable it?

I think you can't enable it... it's not necessary - as long as there are domains in the list, they take effect.
