Backup Drive 100% Full

Hi.

I did a major cleaning of my server

/home is about 50%

My backup drive though is 100% full.

What can I do to to clean this out and refresh?

Also - I found approximatley 30% of my drive being eating by massive error_log files - why and how can I avoid this?

Dont forget that if your doing daily/weekly/monthly backups that you have three copys of a backup on your backup drive. If the backup drive is not large enough it will end up full.

Also, when terminating an account, cpanel does not remove the backup. You may have backups stored on your backup drive for accounts that you terminated long ago. We wrote a WHM plug-in that will check and remove these backups after X number of days (configurable in the plug-in).

This might be of some use to you:

find /home/*/public_html -type f -name 'error_log' | xargs ls -lad --

(Gives you a list of 'error_log' directory listing sorted by file sizes)
