Backup Suggestion

I'd like some advice on how to setup WHM backup. I've looked around here but I am coming across a problem and apparently doing something wrong.

I would like the backup to run daily. How do I set it up so that each day it overwrites the last day? When I try to set it up its obviously not doing this. I have 25G of stuff, and my backup keeps increasing daily to the point where my drive becomes full.

I will FTP each day after it runs but I don't want to use the FTP method thru WHM.

if possible have another harddrive put in your server thats bigger then your primary drive

run the WHM backup process pointing to that /backup

or

purchase some backup space from a provider that offers it
there are alot of providers that do..pretty cheap in costs as well
