Have you by chance logged in via SSH and un-tarred any backups from the Cpanel backups directory? I noticed a few months ago that if we un-archived a backup into the same backup directory it would not update the backup file, instead it would always show as 0 bytes.
When we deleted the folder (named the username) from the cpanel backup directory (daily, weekly, or monthly) the backups ran successfully again.
i logged with user and pass, i checked one another user in this server and that worked! i dont test with root user.

That's very weird, since it's typically the opposite (the cPanel user gets the full backup but the root user gets empty database backups). I recommend letting a technical analyst take a look at this: http://tickets.cPanel.net/submit
For anyone wondering, the reason root and reseller users can lead to empty database backups is they do not have permissions to the cPanel user's databases (unless a .my.cnf file with the username and password is set up in that user's home directory). A lack of permissions results in empty database backups.
This is apparently a bug in the Backup Wizard vs Backup. If you use the Backup Wizard, the SQL dumps are empty. If you use Backup, they are fine...
I've tested this with about 3 different sites on 3 different cPanel servers.
Just an FYI to those here and to the cPanel team that this needs to be corrected.
