Default [case 45308] /backup not unmounting?

We have backups set to a second drive, with mount/unmount set in the backups configuration. It was working for a rather long time like this, and suddenly over the past week it's apparently not unmounting when complete.

    [cpbackup] running: /bin/mount /xxxx
mount: /dev/sdb1 already mounted or /xxxx busy
mount: according to mtab, /dev/sdb1 is already mounted on /xxxx
It then issues a remount and proceeds, but leaves it mounted when complete.
Config still shows mount/unmount and "bailout if" are set, and it's possible to umount via shell, but it gets stuck again with the next backup.

Any thoughts on why this would have changed, and how to correct it?

It works on our server, however I've noticed that if cpbackup finds the drive mounted when it starts, it won't unmount it when it's finished.

I can confirm this here. (CURRENT 11.28.52) It's been like this for a while now, backups not umount-ing after backup completes.

If it appears to be a problem in the new version.
Since different servers to test on, you have the new version and the other is the stable version, I would point the logs:

    Version stable:

    size is: 25056870
[cpbackup] Copying daily backups to weekly backups for retention
[cpbackup] Copying daily backups to monthly backups for retention
    [cpbackup] Shutting down mount
    [cpbackup] running: /bin/mount -o remount,ro /backup
    [cpbackup] running: /bin/umount /backup
[cpbackup] Completed at Thu Dec 9 01:21:25 2010
Notification => xxx via EMAIL [level => 2]

    Version release:

    size is: 12586948
[cpbackup] The following backups were already up to date: weekly, monthly
    [cpbackup] Shutting down mount
    [cpbackup] running: /bin/mount -o remount,ro /backup
    [cpbackup] running: /bin/umount /backup
    umount: /backup: device is busy
    umount: /backup: device is busy

If anyone is seeing this, please do open a ticket to my attention. I was not able to get this to happen on Infopro's server (yet).

Just had a second one start doing this, so opened a request for the newer one: 1146638.
Thanks for looking at this, Nick, when you have time.

Case 45308 was resolved in version 11.28.65. To see if this version is available in your update tier, visit Downloads - cPanel Inc.

Thanks, David. Looking at that link (for Linux x86-64), I see stable and release at .64, and current at .67.
Any thoughts on if and when .65 will be rolled out in either of those branches?

The number 67 comes after 65 numerically. Therefore, anything that is in 11.28.65 is included in version 11.28.67.

There is no ETA on when any specific version will reach any specific update tier.
