Copy a file from Backup HDD
My server has a HDD only for backup. I have a file of 2 GB in this HDD.
I need to download this file to my machine. Is there a way to download it directly?
I tried to transfer the file to the Master HDD, but the SERVER LOAD greatly increases and locks the server.
Anybody can help me, please?

You can make a soft link to that backup folder under your document root
eg : ln -s /home/user/public_html/dowload /backup/download
Now browse it and download
