Daily Backups

I have a Dedicated Server with Godaddy. They sell a backup solution, but doesn't Cpanel come with a Backup Module.

I would like to schedule daily backups of all my websites, and Mysql databases.

In WHM, i can access teh Backup menu. I see configure backup. Can i enable this feature. Do you think godaddy disabled this feature, so i would have to purchase their backup product?

I would appreciate any advice on configuring backups in Cpanel.

Did you set it up to FTP the files over to your godaddy server?

Make sure you setup and account on your godaddy server first, then set it up to FTP your files over.

Then you can log into your SSH and run /scripts/cpbackup and it should start to backup. Then FTP into your godaddy server and see if you see the files in there.
