    Default Error Need Help

    Hi,

    I recently set up a backup cron job using the justin cook script, my question is I got this error about permissions in a email from the server.

    /bin/sh: /home/leonweb/public_html/sender.php: Permission denied

    What does this mean? is it something that I have done or do I simply not have enough permissions to set up cron jobs?

    Cheers,

    Chris

    It means when it tries to execute /bin/sh to run the program it is denied because of permissions.

    I have also noticed the following, message on the main page where you select your experience level;

    /usr/bin/crontab permissions are wrong (6755). Please set to 4755.

    I assume this is the problem, how do i go about changing it from 6755 to 4755? or is this something that I have to get my provider to change?

    Yes, this is something that the server admin needs to look at.
