    Default Full backup cron

    Hello there

Does anyone know of a script which makes a full backup (databases and files) and sends them to a specified email address in an attachment? I would like to use it as a cron job every week.

    Thanking in advance,
    Andrei

Unless your database and site is VERY SMALL I would not recommend any of that!

Backup archives can get very large and email is poorly suited
for file transfers and in particular large file transfers.

Your cpanel control panel should let you make on demand backups for
your site and you can move those to the web space and download them
via the web or configure the ftp to deliver them to an off site FTP server
and either of these would be much better than trying to email something.

Your cpanel account must be very small . Think about a 10 GB account :-D
