Default getting accounts from .tar file

My old host has generously provided me with a .tar file of the accounts that i needed pulled off my reseller hosting account. How would i go about extracting my accounts from this .tar file. I am such a newbie lol.

    Hi,

You need to provide the backup file to your new hosting provider they can restore the backup directly through WHM. If you want to put the new account in your reseller account they will have to change the ownership of that account.

I am uploading this to my own server. There is no web host but me. I guess that makes me a bad one eh? lol. Thank you for the advice, though.

Have you attempted to extract the .tar file to see how your old hosting provider organized the .tar.gz backups for each individual account?

I have extracted it and they are all cpmove files for each of the accounts. I will look at the documentation to find out how to load these onto the server. Thanks for your help!
