Default How to connect FTP NAS Backup to my computer?

I have a FTP NAS HD Backup at theplanet.com (40gb)
    My question:
    - using my FTP generic software on my desktop computer, how to connect via FTP into my FTP Nas harddisk Backup? I try it and failed always.

    Thank you

You should really be asking this of TP, but I believe that TP (like most NOC's) will only allow access to their NAS backup servers from within their own networks, i.e. from your server.
