Huge mistake.

Alright, so I made a mistake in my file manager. I had my index.php in the public-html folder and there was a non functional one in the trash. Well, I accidentally clicked and restored the one in the trash and it got rid of the good one.

What am I to do? This is horrible.

If you have a backup of your index.php file, I would recommend restoring that file from your backup.

This is my first time in cPanel. (I used to use it a lot but this is the first time in a couple years.) So as soon as I got in I hadn't made a backup yet. I was just looking in there and accidentally did that.

Contact your hosting provider, perhaps they made a backup when they performed their server backups.
