moving mailboxes to another server

Hi,
I need to move a load of mailboxes to a new cpanel server. I would use the built in transfer tools, but there is already a website and and database for the account on the new server, and my impression from the docs is that using the transfer tools would overwrite all of the data on the new server.
Is that the case?
If so, is there a way to copy the mailboxes (and their passwords) to the new server?

Are you migrating from another control panel or are you manually moving from system that did not utilize a control panel?

Hi,
I am migrating from one cpanel system to another cpanel system. I think they are the same version (latest) as well.
The complication for me is that I cannot afford to overwrite the user's database and public_html on the new server as their new site is on there.

The best course of action here seems to be to contact our technical analysts so they can assist you with properly migrating what still needs to be migrated.
