Default moving site from old host to new web site host.

I need to move my web site from my old hosting guys to a new one. The new one I found has cPanel 11, the old is still running 10. Can I back up my site from the old "10" and load it in the new hosts "11"?

If so, how? Plain english Please! I rusty at this

Yes, you can migrate a website from a server running cPanel 10 to cPanel 11.

In the cPanel interface on the old server, click on "Backups." Then click on "Generate/Download a Full Backup." The server will email you when the server has finished creating the full backup. You will be able to download that backup from this screen once it has been generated.

Now, send this file to your new hosting provider. They will be able to "restore" the contents of this backup to their servers.

Click the link on the page for downloading the backup. The link should start with your cPanel username, have a bunch of numbers in the middle and end with .tar.gz

I found this LARGE file "backup-8.21.2008_16-49-20_wwwy2ko.tar.gz" on my file manger. When I click on it It show the
    Show File Contents
    Extract File Contents
    Delete File
    Edit File
    Change Permissions
    Rename File
    Copy File
    Move File

But how do I down load it? I feel like I missing somthing here.

    Question moving website with cpanel

Hi - I created the home directory backup on the old hosting site but when i use Restore from Backup on the new hosting site the files do not go into the public_html folder. They go into a newly created folder that has the same name as the home directory back up file name. how do I get the back up file to uncompress into the public_html folder where it needs to be? Thanks
