Ownership : Backups generted through cPanel

Hello,

I tried to generate the full backup via cPanel and cPanel shows it generated successfully. But strange fact is that backup file is having root ownership and so we are not able to download it. How can we overcome this? Is there any setting in whm that caused the ownership of backup file changed to root. Please help me as I am stuck.

Were you logged in as root/reseller when you ran the backup on the users account or the user?
