Remount/Unmount Backup Drive??

Should I enable this when doing a backup to a second drive?


The reason I ask is because I did and I think the backup went through but then it unmounted the drive I guess. So now how should I go about remounting the drive? It was the /backup drive.

You can use below mentioned command to remount the drive.

mount -o remount /backup
