You can schedule a full server backup (which backs up every account on the server), but not a full site backup for an individual cPanel account. You can configure daily full server backups by going to WHM -> Backups -> Configure Backup.

I recommend using SFTP (SSH File Transfer Protocol) rather than attempting to use old-fashioned FTP. With FTP, your root login credentials will be sent in plain text for anyone to see. With SFTP, both your credentials and your transfers are encrypted. Most reputable FTP clients do support SFTP (not to be confused with FTPS).

Your customer can acquire their portion of the full backup by logging into their cPanel interface, clicking on the Backups icon and under System Backups, selecting the backup they want to download (Daily, Weekly or Monthly).

    userdomain.com/cpanel/

I use my root username and password buy i can't login....

Is there a way to do this?

    Thank you

Also i think in the server is something like this:

    /home/domain1.com/public_html/userfiles1
    /home/domain2.com/public_html/userfiles2
    /home/domain3.com/public_html/userfiles3

    And so on ....

How can i login from ftp and view the home directory as my root username and password don't work...

Go to your WHM>>Server Configuration>>Tweak Settings>>System and see whether the following is checked :
'Disable login with root or reseller password into the users' cPanel interface.'

you can also go to users panel from your whm

login to your whm first find list account option & then find respective domain click on cPanel icon then click on backup icon. there you can take backup of respective users only.
