/scripts/cpbackup --force no longer works?

The command;
#/scripts/cpbackup --force
no longer works and just returns:

Backup is not done today as per whm backup settings at /scripts/cpbackup line 347

Is there a way around this?
WHM latest release.

You have backup disabled for the day in question. The --force flag does not over ride that.

Seems to me the --force flag should do just that, force !! regardless of any settings.
