Tranfer accounts between Cpanel/Whm and Cpanel VPS

Hi all,
Is that possible? do I just backup an account from the old server and restore it to the other?

With Cpanel VPS can I install servlet like WHM or there is a way to get around it?

I just did this. Once you get your VPS server setup with WHM. Just log into whm and use account transfer. It will do all the work for you. I transfered 15 accounts with no problem. Everything works like it did on the old server.

NOTE - Both must be WHM/cPanel servers to work.

Yes you can transfer multiple account from your existing server to new server but in that case your both server should be cPanel server.

You can migrate your accounts from existing server to new server from new servers WHM --> Transfers --> Copy multiple accounts/packages from another server.

thank you, so with the vps license I have also whm?? or I have to buy whm and cpanel then buy vps.

What I cannot understand is that if vps has the same features of whm/cpanel and a better memory performance, why it cost less?? is it an upgrade of whm/cpanel?

cPanel/WHM is a single product. When you purchase a VPS license of cPanel/WHM, you get both cPanel and WHM. VPS licenses of cPanel/WHM offer the same functionality as their dedicated server counterparts. However, VPS licenses can only be used in VPS environments. They cannot be used in dedicated server environments.
