I've tried the shell command...

Then tried a program called 'biddump' which does smaller database injections.

What happens both times is that the import will start, then the server load will spike up to 30.00-plus and nothing would happen.

I'd eventually, after a few hours, have to restart MySQL.

ANyone have any ideas on importing large mySQL tables?
