Whm to Whm website transfer -help

Hello,
first of all sorry if I ask something that is answered all ready, but I just cant find the answer.

I`am not very good with technical stuff. I mean i know something but not too much.
I have set up a transfer of my website (image hosting) from my current server to a new one (both have whm and cpanel).
My website is arround 80 GB large and database is arround 150 MB.
My website is still working, I mean i didn`t close it to transfer files.
So actaully I wanted to ask this hoping that somebody could help me:
1. Will WHM be able to transfer so much files (80 GB)?

2. WHM is transfering files right now and its printing some dots and numbers, like:
.1255469550..
...........
Is that a number (in bytes?) how much data has been transfered?

3. Does WHM have an option to transfer new files. I mean the files that users are uploading right now, but they are not included in this current transfer of website.

Not sure how well that size of a move will go, I wouldn't count on it going perfectly. But certainly try it to see.

I would have suggested closing the site during the move. Once the backup is created and started to move, anything done on the existing site is not going to make it over as it's not in the backup.

If the move does not go well, you might try generating a full system backup from the accounts cPanel, and move that file to the new server for restoring.

I'm sure if you search the forums for some sort of term like move large account you'll find other posts on this topic.

Good point. And is the same thing a server move does. (backs up, moves)

There is a setting in Transfers that states this:
Do not compress transfers (cPanel 10.8.3+ required on both ends):

Might be just for this sort of situation.

I would think you'll find what you need on the forums here.

Uh, generating a full system backup from cpanel. That means cpanel will compress all of the files into one? If yes, that is gonna be hell of the job for cpanel and server resources .
