    Default 15-25+ of one process...eating memory..

    Hello!

    at any given time I have 15-25+ processes of:

    /usr/local/apache/bin/httpd-DSSL

    how can I trim this down to say....5 or so? Is that a good idea? bad idea? They're always running - no cpu usage. just sucking my memory.

    Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
