421 Lost incoming connection - Mail held in Queue (HELP NEEDED

Spam Assassin is NOT running.

I've tried everything (even updating everything).

I'm receiving the following on all emails sent to a specific domain on my server.. Other domains seem ok. Not sure why.. They are being held in the Mail Queue, but will not send.. I'm at my wits end.


An error was detected while processing a file of BSMTP input.
The error message was:

421 Lost incoming connection

The SMTP transaction started in line 0.
The error was detected in line 3.
0 previous messages were successfully processed.
The rest of the batch was abandoned.
421 Lost incoming connection
Transaction started in line 0
Error detected in line

This was also detailed in the mailqueue.

This message was created automatically by mail delivery software.

A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its
recipients. This is a permanent error. The following address(es) failed:

I replaced domains with xxx.xxx.com

i too have this problem

That error is because spamd is not installed.

The installation is hanging due to a CPAN error.

Follow the steps

1 - perl -MCPAN -e 'install HTML::Tagset;'
2 - /scripts/installspam
3 - /scripts/restartsrv_spamd
4 - /etc/init.d/exim restart
5 - /etc/init.d/cpanel restart
