500 Error opening WHM - Could not fetch uid or gid for root

Hi Guys,

I was wondering if anyone could help me with a little problem, I tried logging into whm today and I am getting the following error:

Internal Server Error

Could not fetch uid or gid for : root
      
cpsrvd/11.24 Server at domain.com

I looked in the Cpanel error_log file and it says the following:

Could not fetch uid or gid for : rootInternal Error: "GET / HTTP/1.1" Could not fetch uid or gid for : root

Does anyone know how this can be fixed?

I am running Centos

Sorry, it was me being silly,

If anyone else comes across this, you can not log into /cpanel as root, you can only log into /whm as root
