500 internal server errors -- help

Hi,

I recently transferred accounts over a to a new server..

Followed this method:

Now, I'm getting a lot of internal server errors with a lot of php scripts.

In the logs, I'm getting
Premature end of script headers:

Also getting.

failed to open log file
fopen: Permission denied
[Tue Jul 26 22:44:42 2005] [error] [client ******] Premature end of script headers: /home/*****/public_html/links/directory

Re-compile Php. That should solve this problem, if not PM me.

I recompiled php... still same problem.

now, i'm noticing that the server loaded increases when practially any php page is opened.. ie any page phpbb causes the server load to increase to over 1. when 1 visitor opens the page.

Do you have phpsuexec enabled in the new build?

I got hundreds of php 500 server errors (on nearly every script I had) when I transferred my accounts over to a cpanel server. Perhaps it could be something as simple as ensuring the files have the proper ownership?

And haven't had an issue w/ php files since.
